I love Candy Apples! They are one of my favorite treats this time of year.I had fun working with those beautiful reds, but I am not pleased with the colors I chose for the background. I might try another still life of the apples, but this time with a different color scheme. Also, this is the first time I have attempted to paint cellophane, and it was quite a challenge.
The blue background looks great with the red apples,which look crisp and sweet.Love the cellophane too!

Hi Maria, I too prefer the dark background. I think that you have put in just enough visual information to make the cellophane "real" without over working the painting. Great job.
