Last week, I had the privilege of participating in a five-day fine art workshop with renowned artist Max Ginsburg. We began the week with quick studies of the figure, concentrating on gesture, proportion, and value. Towards the end of the week, we painted the model over a two day period allowing us to produce a more finished painting. I thoroughly enjoyed being fully immersed in painting all day, while having the direction and guidance of an artist like Max, who is an extraordinary human being and teacher.
