I have been in my studio working on larger pieces for my upcoming exhibition in December, but I did step out on a few occasions to paint outdoors. Fall is my favorite time of year, so I will be painting on location as often as possible.
Last week, I drove out to Fearrington Village and painted the black and white belted cows grazing on the rolling pastures. What a treat!
Lovely loose brushwork gives this delightful scene movement and energy!! Good luck with your exhibition, time does fly so before you know it will be round the corner. Autumn is an amazing season especially for artists.
