This antique sewing machine belonged to my husband's grandmother, I discovered it while cleaning out his grandparent's home, along with a trunk full of old patterns from the 1950's, buttons, and other goodies - it felt like we had opened a time capsule.
This composition is extremely appealing. The colors and light are wonderful. I found you on Leslie Saeta's 30-day challenge. I am much inspired by a some of the artists, so I've ordered books on acrylic painting and plan to teach myself to paint. Keep up the good work. : )
This reminds me of my mother! She had a Singer sewing machine, tape measure just like that, and even the tomato pin cushion. Thanks for the memory!
